Just getting started with the SoFoBoMo Project. I’m still not quite sure of the exact nature of the book I will do, but at least now I have started down the path.

Here is the new photo that my friend and colleague Charlie Parker of Images Plus Photography did for me the other day. I needed a new one to use on the VPP web site for my position as the Representative from Vermont to PPANE.
Maybe in a few days I’ll post some of the out-takes.
Let’s see what this one has in store. Remember, we make it up as we go along.
So, make it a good year!
I just upgraded the blog to WordPress 2.3 and will be exploring the changes in the near future.
The equinox has come and gone. Now it’s Fall. Go ahead and believe it!
Carry on!
I was in the audience of a program at the PPANE Convention monday afternoon when the speaker, David Jay, took a photo with his iPhone and immediately posted it to Flickr and his blog. Then he logged on with his connected to the projector laptop and showed us the online version. All in an effort to show people just how easy it is.
I’m in there towards the back in a light green shirt.
I never would have imagined I would be involved in any live-blogging!
Loads of fun!
Here is the link to David Jay’s blog post.

Went and picked up a pair of the new Canon Powershot G9 cameras late yesterday afternoon for Nancy and me. Looks like they will fit the “carry-everywhere” bill just fine.
I’ll post more when I’ve had a chance to become more familiar with just what it can do.
Labor Day has come and gone. Everybody is saying “That’s the end of Summer.”
Well, that’s an arbitrary and artificial declaration!
I say, ignore it! The equinox isn’t for a few more weeks!
Go enjoy more Summer!

This is what we woke up to this morning. Eight inches of new, wet, heavy snow.
Oh well, at least it shouldn’t last long.
Just testing a blogging widget to see if it works.
